Summer camp is offered to beginners and intermediate riders with the first class starting in June 2011. It’s a great way to have fun while learning about horses from the ground up.
Our experienced camp counselor Cindi Flower will work with you teaching safety, grooming, handling, parts of the horse and knowledge of tack and saddles. Students will advance from ground training to the saddle and will work up to walking, trotting and if ready, actually loping on the horse.
Class Information
Classes fill up fast and there is limited seating. Each class will run five days, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. A snack and beverage will be provided Monday through Thursday and to celebrate graduation, a luncheon will be served Friday afternoon. Students must be 8 to 12 years old. A Painted View Ranch will supply experienced horses, tack and saddles.
Students are advised to register at least one week in advance. The tuition for the full week is $250. The students are requested to wear riding boots while working with the horses.

Students of any age can register for individual lessons upon request.
